Digital Asset Management Trends

Digital asset management needs to now be an integral part of putting together a digital workflow for photographers. The tools for DAM are as important, or more so, than the type of digital camera or inkjet printer you buy. The real power of a digital photography workflow is in how those images get stored and delivered.

Digital Asset Management is not a category or an application at all! It is a capability. A capability that we now expect to find in applications within the digital production and broadcast products we buy.

Fuji Pictrography Printer

Ink jet prints are great for producing high quality digital photographs. One draw back is that they are slow and not practical for quickly producing a large number of prints.
