Digital Image Submission Criteria
DISC, digital image submission criteria, is an offshoot of the IDEAalliance. Members include Kodak, Fuji and Conde Nast among others. DISC is trying to set standards for digital photo submission.
The DISC committee has broad representation and support across the industry, and anticipates its specifications for digital image submissions will become best practice guidelines.

Photoshop Image Library
Some photographers have been using the Photoshop 7.0 File Browser as an image library tool. You can use the File Browser in this way, instead of using a dedicated data asset management system. It has some limitations of coarse.
One problem has been the stability of Photoshop 7.0 when browsing a large number of files with the File Browser.
This File Browser update corrects the problem and helps turn it into a Photoshop Image Library.
